Lanolin, produced by sheep, acts as a waterproof barrier on wool. It closely resembles human sebum, making it easily absorbed by the skin for deep hydration. It restores elasticity and softness, leaving skin feeling supple and revitalized. Lanolin heals the skin so well its uses can be traced through generations; from softening scars to comforting nursing mothers to healing chronically dry skin, eczema, burns, scrapes, and many other skin conditions. Also, a thin layer applied to facial cheeks protects skin against cold and harsh winter weather conditions. (A dab with do use)
Order your Lanolin Bundle now: 36 - 1 oz jars in Six Aromas with a 77.56% Markup, a Handcrafted Baltic Birch Wood Display, and Free Shipping with a Buy-back Guarantee.
Due to the increased and necessary focus on the growth of Chickapea Farms' Mi Farm Network, we are temporarily pausing all wholesale orders for Chickapea Farms' CFBulk products, except for our 100% beeswax candles and lanolin products. This pause will enable us to better support the required focus on Mi Farm Network while maintaining the highest quality in our offerings. We appreciate your understanding and continued support during this time.
There are two ways to place an order via the website: from the Website's Shop or from a downloadable Line Sheet-Order Form (LSOF). The Website's Shop will ask for payment upon order.
Once an order is placed using our Line Sheet-Order Form (LSOF) we will email an electronic invoice that excepts payment using a credit card or ACH, payment required upon receipt of invoice.
While our product line is paused, you can order Chickapea Farms' Birdie Tweats, wild bird nesting material, through Lizzie Mae, wild bird supply wholesaler.
We love that our products allow us to work with such a diverse group of B2B customers, which include: Meijer, Wild Birds Unlimited, Ace Hardware, Small Chain and Independent Grocery Stores, Feed Mills, Doctors and Utility Workers, Pet Stores, Boutiques, Regional and National Distributors.
Troy Walsh was that five-year-old in 2006 when he started his business. His continued focus, drive and hard work turned his ambitions into a family business now called Chickapea Farms. These ambitions have laid a green path he will walk well into his future.
At Chickapea Farms, there is no division between business and personal life. We live and work dedicated to being stewards of the planet, building a like-minded community through education, and offering well researched, pure and honest products.
We continually practice Eco-friendly Lifecycle Management: starting with the resources providing raw materials to the disposal of our products, we take pride each step, start to finish, is researched and focused on being eco-friendly for our products.
Chickapea Farms is a registered LLC. State and Federal laws, licensing, and insurances are implemented and followed. UPCs and SKUs assigned, along with lot numbers and expiration dates. Products are established in multiple markets.
Chickapea Farms is located in the northern Michigan wilderness. Our artisan products reflect our connection and love of nature, and heart-felt care that consumers are fully satisfied with our products.
We have taken great pride in maintaining age-old Artisan values and traditions with no compromise in quantity. We honestly bring a product to market worth the consumer's hard earned money.
So as not to harm Mother Earth, we consciously focus on using the most renewable resources and greenest processes to keep a low carbon footprint from start to finish for each of our product's existence.
We believe in local supporting local. We buy local. We sell local. If not harvested from our own land, then we scrutinize sources in the sequence of: our home area within Michigan, the rest of Michigan, the Midwest.
In making our products, there is no out-sourcing or mass-production machinery; just hands on, strong backbones and a lot of elbow grease to create durable, high quality, green products and packaging.
We source from Michigan farms that are conscious of their carbon footprint, have ethical practices, and prioritize animal welfare and humane care for their livestock, treating them as beloved pets. All are also no-kill farms.
We strive to eliminate plastic and fossil fuel materials from our products and their packaging, and take the extra steps so our products and packaging can be compostable, and if not, repurposable.
Even though Troy calls on his friends, family and mentors for help, he's always at the helm of Chickapea Farms, leading with love in his heart, quality on his mind! We thank you for walking a green path with us.
