Heartfelt Healing

We feel immense gratitude and emotion each time we witness the visible skin improvement of Chickapea Farms' 100% lanolin, LanoSkin. Testimonials have poured in, demonstrating its performance across a wide range of uses. While grandmas and farmers of the past recognized its healing power and kept it as a staple in their healthcare routines, many today remain unaware. Those who try it are consistently astonished by its skin-supporting abilities, affirming LanoSkin's versatility in addressing a diverse array of skin issues. 

One of the materials Chickapea Farms primarily works with is wool, and initially, we weren't sure what to do with its lanolin. So, we shelved it. However, during the peak of the Covid crisis, a Detroit, Michigan doctor working on a Covid hospital floor reached out to us and asked if we could bottle up our lanolin for them, as the skin on their hands was becoming a serious concern due to excessive hand washing. Responding promptly, we sent a case to the hospital. The doctor distributed it to colleagues, and the rapid improvement and lasting suppleness of their hands amazed everyone. This experience led us to provide lanolin to other frontline workers. 

As Covid was peeking during the harsh winter months, a major snowstorm took power lines down in Michigan. Electrical crew members had to work on our property for part of the restoration. As we encountered them we noticed their cheeks were bright red. We offered the lanolin to them to help soothe the windburn and add a thin layer of protection for future outdoor work. Shortly after we got a call from our Electrical company requesting some for everyone, line and office workers alike. 

Again, during Covid, everyone was over-washing their hands. But what got our attention the most, were the stories of senior citizens whose skin was already frail, leading it to become raw, cracked, bleeding, and too sore to touch. Again, we sent out some lanolin with incredible visible improvement. We received back not only wonderful testimonials but many memories from the seniors about how their parents and grandparents used to use lanolin.  

We had one doctor put the lanolin to the test. He was an internal medicine doctor, and one of the best. He was in his early 60s at the time and had genetic eczema affecting the skin on both of his legs from the knees down since he was a little boy. Nothing he had ever tried before gave him relief, let alone improve the appearance of his skin. He knew the lanolin would not change the underlying condition as it was in his DNA, but he also got results he never expected. Very shortly after use the skin on his legs looked totally healthy and normal. He said as long as he lightly coated his legs every three days the skin stayed comfortable and supple. This was just the start of the severe and chronic to healthy stories we have been honored to bear witness to.
